April 19

Theft: A satellite radio receiver was stolen from an auto with an unlocked door at a home in the 3000 block of Starwick Drive.

Theft: A golf bag, Callaway irons and Nike woods golf clubs were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 3000 block of Forty-Second Street.

Fraud: Unauthorized withdrawals were made from a checking/savings account at a home in the 500 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Theft: A purse was taken from an auto at a home in the 40 block of Lexington Place. The purse was later found on the ground at a vacant building across the street, with several credit cards and an Ohio license in the wallet, but missing $8 to $12 in change.

Fraud: Unauthorized withdrawals were made from an account at a home in the 70 block of Omalia Avenue.

Breaking and entering: About 60 feet of copper pipe was stolen from a vacant home in the 100 block of Westminster Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A drivers’-side vehicle window was broken out in the driveway of a home in the 60 block of Lexington Place.

Assault: Police arrested Davila Rochelle, 27, of 82 S. Roanoke Ave., on charges of assault, aggravated menacing, disorderly conduct and failure to desist for the assault of female at a home in the 300 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle windshield was broken by a BB gun pellet on North Four Mile Run Road.

Assault: A victim was assaulted in the parking lot at Eat ‘N’ Park restaurant, 5459 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Randy J. Tibolet, 51, of Westerville, Ohio, with criminal trespassing and criminal damaging at the Economy Inn, 1051 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Drug offense: Police arrested a 17-year-old boy on several charges, including possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana at Kirk Road at state Route 46.

April 20

Fraud: An unauthorized account was opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 30 block of Kroeck Avenue.

Disrupting public service: An electric line deliberately was cut on an unattached garage in the 90 block of Maple Drive.

Drug offense: Police arrested a male juvenile on a curfew violation and on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia at Mahoning Avenue and South Beverly avenues.

Criminal damaging: A cinder block was thrown through a window in the 3000 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Assault: A man is accused of assault at home in the 5000 block of Stanford Avenue.

Telephone harassment: A woman is a victim of telephone harassment at an apartment in the 100 block of Compass West apartments.

Domestic violence: Police charged Scott Hazel, 36, of 219 S. Roanoke Ave., Austintown, with domestic violence in the parking lot of apartments in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Warrant: Police arrested David Mercer, 27, of 6305 Mahoning Ave., on a warrant for failure to appear on two counts of criminal damaging.

Menacing by stalking: An ex- employee of Hillbrook Apartments was stalking a new employee at the apartments, 440 S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Anthony Schaffer, 23, of 4405 Plumbrook Drive on a warrant for failure to appear for driving under suspension out of Niles Municipal court.

Burglary: Jewelry, guitars and a computer were taken from a home in the 600 block of Purdue Avenue.

Identity theft: An XBox live account was accessed at a home in the 4000 block of Viall Road.

Theft: Property was rented and not returned at a home in the 50 block of Westminster Avenue.

April 21

Warrant: Police arrested Matthew Myers, 36, of Akron, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge from Brimfield, Ohio, in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A female homeowner reported jewelry missing at a home in the 2000 block of Westminster Avenue.

Disorderly conduct: Police charged Melissa L. Ortenzio, no age given, 850 N. Meridian Road, Apt. 524 with disorderly conduct at Phoenix House.

Assault: A male victim was assaulted by another male at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

April 22

Auto theft: A 1981 Chevrolet Camaro was stolen from a home in the 10 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Fraud: A total of $62.43 was taken from an account at a home in the 3000 block of Ayremire Drive.

Aggravated menacing: Police charged John L. Ellis, III, 53, of Phoenix House with aggravated menacing at the facility.

Burglary: A plasma television and computer were stolen from a home in the 200 block of S. Main Street.

Identity theft: An account was opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 60 block of N. Roanoke Ave.

Theft: A theft of $78 in gas and a sports drink was reported at Get-Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.

April 23

Burglary: A bicycle and golf clubs were stolen from a home in the 7000 block of Berry Blossom Drive.

Fraud: Electric service was put in the victim’s name at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Boulevard.

Theft: A female shoplifter got away with merchandise at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: A woman was assaulted by man in the 4000 block of Selkirk Road.

April 24

Criminal trespass: Police issued a summons to Jesse Cooper Jr., 56, of 302 Frederick Drive, Liberty, for criminal trespass at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Attempted breaking and entering: The man door and lock were damaged and windows were broken out at a garage in the 90 block of Maple Ave.

Menacing: Threats were made at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: An Ohio driver’s license was stolen from an auto at a home in the 2000 block of Meadow Lane.

April 25

Domestic violence: Police charged Daniel Longo, 24, of 212 N. Navarre Ave., with domestic violence at his residence. He also was charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs.

Burglary: A 19-inch LCD television, an XBox and games were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of South Four Mile Run Road.

Bench warrant: Police arrested Renee Elgabri, 46, of6082 Callaway Circle, on a bench warrant at state Route 11 and Interstate 680 for failure to appear for a suspended license.

Theft: Videos and a blue ray DVD were stolen at Hollywood Video, 5225 Mahoning Ave.
