Investing in our community
Should anyone be undecid- ed about renewing the half-percent sales tax by voting yes on Issue 3 May 4, they might give some thought to “money well spent is like well fertilized soil that will always produce growth.”
Most senior citizens like myself living on a fixed income more often than not must pinch pennies to make ends meet. I personally will gladly pinch pennies if the sales tax will help to maintain the services badly needed, one such being community safety services.
I strongly urge my fellow seniors as well as other to vote yes on Issue 3. A community’s safety and strength survives by its residents’ concern and pride. Money well spent is money that promotes growth.
