Flower show winners winners announced

YOUNGSTOWN

Entries in the Garden Forum of Greater Youngstown’s flower show April 17 and 18 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park were judged by Dorothy Haddox, Dianna Mullins and Millie Campean.

Winners of blue ribbons in the design category were Elsie Dehoff of Austintown, and Dianna Mullins and Anne Ellis of Nature Lovers. A special award in design went to Dehoff.

Recipients of blue ribbons in horticulture were Sheila Bowman, Martha Murphy, Ellis, Rose Mary Fuller and Mullins of Nature Lovers; Rose Marie Roth of Gleaners; Mary Schall of Austintown; Eleanor Steffins of Ikebana; Haddox of Our Lady of Fatima; Peggy Potts of Johnny Appleseed; and Janet Yaniglas, Roxanne Kaczynski and Barbara Roth of Public. A special horticulture award went to Murphy.
