Neighbors | Submitted.Detective Sgt. Jeff Toth of the Austintown Police Department addressed the Rotary Club of Canfield regarding the impact of the revitalized D.A.R.E. program.
Austintown Detective Sgt. Jeff Toth recently shared the impact of the revitalized Drug Abuse Resistance Education program with the Canfield Rotary Club.
Toth stated that D.A.R.E. has helped kids stay out of trouble by encouraging them to understand the relationship between decisions and consequences. The D.A.R.E curriculum was expanded and now includes a program for seventh-graders called Refuse, Explain, Avoid, Leave or REAL.
