Each is charged with a crime that could result in up to 10 years in prison.

WARREN — Bond was set at between $25,000 and $40,000 for the 10 adults arrested during a Tuesday afternoon raid on a West Market Street drug house.

Judge Terry Ivanchak of Warren Municipal Court entered innocent pleas for each of the 10 as they were arraigned by video from Trumbull County Jail.

Each is charged with the same first-degree felony: aggravated trafficking in drugs involving heroin.

The charge carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison if convicted. Each is set for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the same court.

Lt. Jeff Orr, commander of the Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force, showed the news media heroin, crack cocaine, cocaine, OxyContin and marijuana that were confiscated from the home near Nevada Street Northwest.

Police also found $10,500 in cash, 10 guns and a bulletproof vest inside the home after investigating the drug operations being conducted out of the house. The arrests capped a monthlong investigation.

About 16 pit bulls — half were adult dogs and half were puppies — also were found in the house and were euthanized later at the Trumbull County Dog Pound.

Of the 10 people arrested, four are from the Detroit area, including Christopher Davis, 39; Gshannon McColor Jr., 21; James B. McColor, 30; and Michael A. Travis, 30. Each was born in Detroit, and three of the four gave Detroit as their current address.

James B. McColor of Detroit gave an address of 311 Haymaker Avenue N.W., Warren.

Jail records indicate this is the first time any of the four have been arrested in Trumbull County.

Judge Ivanchak set bond at $40,000 for Davis, Gshannon McColor and Travis; and $25,000 for James B. McColor.

Six others with addresses in Warren and Southington were also arraigned. They are: Darius E. Talley Jr., 35, of 627 Park Avenue, Warren, who has a lengthy local arrest record; Steven M. Nezbeth, 40, of 5063 Herner Countyline Road, Southington, who has a lengthy arrest record; Twila Nezbeth, 50, of 5063 Herner Countyline Road, Southington, who has been arrested in Trumbull County several times; Jennifer Lackner, 24, 2455 Bazetta Road, Warren; Kayla Mctheny, 19, of 130 Royal Mall, Niles; and Salena Jones, 19, of 1904 W. Market Street, Warren.

Bond was set at $25,000 for all of the females and Talley; and $30,000 for Steven M. Nezbeth.

Orr described the house as a “large [drug] distribution point with a lot of people coming and going all hours of the day.”

Three juvenile females arrested during the raid were taken to the Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center.
