CANFIELD — Aruba was the honeymoon destination of David J. Denton and his bride, the former Lisa Stephenson, who were united in marriage at 1 p.m. May 2 at St. Michael Church. The Rev. Terrence Hazel officiated.
Following the ceremony, a reception at Stambaugh Auditorium honored the daughter of Cathy and Tony Stephenson of Canfield, and the son of David and Patti Denton of Struthers.
The bride wore a vintage-inspired gown.
Honor attendants were Allyson Zuzik, and the bride’s sister, Leslie Santa. Bridesmaids were Emily Dillinger, Nanetta Kounouzvelis, Emily Mancuso, Melissa Ruby and Jena Martin. They wore champagne gowns enhanced with black lace. Flower girls were the bride’s cousin, Mikaela Thompson, and Ava Velasquez.
Brian Denton served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Shawn Aker, Nick Popio, Dan Brammer, Mark Brammer Jr., Tim Bell and Chris Kohl. Ring bearer was Beau Velasquez, and ushers were Kyle Riffle, Brian Cunning, Matt Dorrance and Jeremy Riehm.
The groom graduated from Youngstown State University with a doctorate in physical therapy and is a facility director with Pinnacle Health Concepts and Function Junction in Boardman.
