Trial leaf collection set in Canfield

CANFIELD — The township will have a trial leaf collection on Monday.

The program, which is through a grant from the Recycling Division of Mahoning County Green Team, will be from U.S. Route 224 to Austintown Township and between Tippecanoe Road and South Raccoon Road.

Monday will be the only day leaves will be collected for 2009.

The leaves must be in paper bags or they won’t be collected. Free bags will be made available at Canfield Township Hall on South Broad Street.
