Ex-morgue worker in Ohio admits to more corpse abuse cases
CINCINNATI (AP) — A former morgue worker already in prison for having sex with a body awaiting autopsy has pleaded guilty in two more cases of sexually assaulting corpses.
Kenneth Douglas, 56, pleaded guilty today to two counts of gross abuse of corpse. He faces a possible sentence of three years at a Dec. 10 hearing.
Douglas was a night attendant at the Hamilton County morgue in Cincinnati for 16 years ending in 1992. He is serving a three-year sentence after being convicted for having sex with the body of an 19-year-old murder victim in 1982.
The latest charges involved two 1991 female homicide victims.
Prosecutors said at the time of the indictments that they were based on DNA testing.
