Stambaugh ballroom to be setting for style show

YOUNGSTOWN — The ballroom at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., will be the setting on Nov. 4 for the 12th annual Holiday Fashion show to be presented by Stambaugh Pillars.

The fundraising event will begin with a social at 10 a.m. Guests will have the opportunity to preview items to be awarded as raffle prizes and to shop at the Dillard’s Boutique in the lobby.

Also displayed and offered for sale will be holiday arrangements provided by Lutz Greenhouse.

Antone’s will cater the 11:30 a.m. lunch, which will be followed by the fashion show featuring clothing from Dillard’s and furs from Lingenfelter-Brill of Alliance.

The fashion coordinator will be Judy Conti, of Judy Conti Dance Studios.

As special gifts for the day, Dillard’s is donating a $500 shopping spree, a $300 shoe wardrobe, and two designer baskets for the event. In addition, every guest will receive a $50 coupon toward the purchase of items worth $150 or more at Dillard’s in the Southern Park Mall.

Leilani Drake of Boardman and Barbara Banks of Poland are serving as cochairs for the event, and Chris Muransky is honorary chair.

Tickets for the gala are $35, and proceeds will support refurbishing and restoration projects at Stambaugh Auditorium. For tickets or additional information call the auditorium office at (330) 747-5175.
