Exposed to Agent Orange? Attend this meeting


NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Agent Orange will be the topic when Lawrence County Veterans’ Affairs Director Shirley Noga presents her monthly benefits seminar.

The meeting is set for 10 a.m. to noon Monday in the County Commissioners’ meeting room in the basement of the Lawrence County Government Center.

Noga said Vietnam Veterans who believe they were exposed to Agent Orange should attend. Dan Slack, of the Butler County Veterans’ office will bring a map of heavily sprayed areas and will discuss various locations where exposure occurred.

Noga also pointed out that October has been designated Agent Orange Awareness Month due to a resolution introduced by Pa. State Rep. Jaret Gibbons, D-10.
