Youngstown mayor to be guest on C-SPAN’s ‘Washington Journal’


WASHINGTON Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams is scheduled to appear 9 a.m. today on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal.”

Williams is expected to discuss the success of stimulus funding to the city of Youngstown and will point out the the city received $350,000 in Recovery Act funding that has resulted in keeping or preserving 500 jobs and stimulating $4 million in private investment.

On Tuesday, he and Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland are scheduled to give testimony before the International Trade Commission on illegal dumping by Chinese manufacturers of oil country tubular goods.
