Barberton display boasts 35,000 lights

BARBERTON — The City of Barberton will host a display of 35,000 multicolored holiday lights as part of the annual Lake Anna Holiday Light Display at Lake Anna Park.

The official holiday lighting ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Lake Anna Park gazebo. This event takes place in conjunction with Grow Barberton Inc.’s annual Christmas Walk.

The lights will remain lit through Jan. 1. Lights will be turned on at dusk and remain on until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday evenings. Lights will remain lit until 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Each of the corners of Lake Anna is decorated in a particular theme.

There is no charge to see the brilliant display, which is a cooperative effort between the city of Barberton and the Barberton Community Foundation.
