The engagement of Ashley Danielle Burkett, a daughter of Thomas Burkett of East Palestine and Mary Pat Burkett of Midland, Pa., and Michael James McKim, a son of Thomas and Carol McKim of Enon Valley, Pa., is being announced by their parents.
The bride-to-be is a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service, and the prospective groom is a utility worker with Dominion Gas Co.
The couple are planning an Aug. 21 wedding.
