MCDONALD — The wedding of Kate Barbati Florig and Mark David Komlanc took place at 4 p.m. June 26 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

The bride is a daughter of Bill Florig and Suzanne Barbati of 4190 Lockwood Blvd., Boardman. Mr. Komlanc is a son of Donna and Ed Dolsak, 511 Iowa Ave., and Tom and Karen Komlanc, 360 Hazel St., Girard.

A reception took place at DiVieste’s Banquet Hall in Warren, and the couple honeymooned in Savannah, Ga. They are living in McDonald.

The bride wore a white strapless layered A-line gown with a chapel train.

Maid of honor was Jessica Conzett, who wore a yellow gown, and bridesmaid was Jenny Frease, who wore a light blue gown.

The groom’s cousin, James Bailey II, performed the duties of best man, and groomsman was the bride’s brother, Anthony Florig. Ring bearer was the groom’s nephew, Brady Klockner, and ushers were the groom’s brothers, John and Tom Komlanc.

Mrs. Komlanc graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned her master’s degree in psychology at Kent State University, where she is pursuing an educational specialist degree. She is employed at Akron Children’s Hospital.

Her husband is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in integrated language arts at YSU. He is junior varsity basketball coach with Hubbard schools.
