Western, Pa. man killed when tractor topples

EBENSBURG, Pa. (AP) — An autopsy is set to pinpoint the cause of death of a western Pennsylvania man killed when a tractor toppled onto him over an embankment.

Cambria County authorities say 58-year-old Duane Sherry, of Ebensburg, was using a front-end loader to haul away wood from a tree he felled on his property.

Authorities believe the man was dumping the wood over a hillside when the tractor went down an embankment and rolled over onto him shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday.

The autopsy was scheduled for today. Ebensburg is about 65 miles east of Pittsburgh.
