H1N1 shots for Salem youths set Tuesday

SALEM — H1N1 flu shots for students in kindergarten through grade six will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Salem High School cafeteria.

Parents should register their children at https://h1n1vaccine.odh.ohio.gov then print, sign and bring a copy to the school before Tuesday. Children who are sick should not go to the clinic.

Junior high and high school students will receive their shots between 8 and 11 a.m. Friday at the high school. Parents should again register, print, sign and bring a copy before the clinic. Those copies should be turned in to the main office at the school.

Parents of pre-school students who are age 4r and under will be notified by the Salem Health Department by a press release for those vaccinations times and dates.

No adults will be given vaccinations at the clinics. Shots for adults will be handled later.
