Amanda Dempsey, 392 Fairground Blvd., Canfield, and Chad Jones, of the same address, are engaged and have planned an autumn wedding.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Deborah Logan, 7037 Paxton Road, Boardman, and the late Robert L. Dempsey Jr. She is a stylist with Famous Hair in Canfield.
Ron and Kathy Jones, 707 Illinois, McDonald, are parents of the future groom. He is employed at McDonald Steel and is pursuing a degree in business at Youngstown State University.
Invitations will be issued for the wedding the couple have planned for 3 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Gazebo in Boardman Township Park. Their invitation-only reception will be at The Embassy in Youngstown.
