2 incumbents, 2 newcomers win seats on Farrell council


FARRELL, Pa. — In a race for four seats that was decided in Tuesday’s primary elections, two incumbents and two newcomers will sit on the city council.

Incumbent Robert T. Burich was the lead vote-getter with 408 votes.

He was followed by newcomer Stephen L. Bennefield; newcomer Kimberly A. Doss; incumbent Stephanie Williams-Sheffield; and Susan I. Leach, who lost her first bid for public office.

There were no candidates for council in the Republican primary.
