• An annual rummage sale, sponsored by Brookfield United Methodist Church Altar Guild & TLC Sunday school class, is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 28 and 29, and from 9 a.m. to noon May 30. Refreshments to be offered are hot dogs, sloppy joes, tuna salad, pie, coffee, tea and juice.

• Friends of WomanSafe will have a trash and treasure sale of gently used items at recession prices from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 13 at Ridgeview Farm, 5488 Kinsman Road, Mesopotamia. Also for sale will be coffee, hot dogs, chips, soft drinks and fresh strawberry shortcake. • Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, 480 Youngstown-Poland Road, Struthers, is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ReStore carries a wide variety of furniture, including a large selection of couches and many large metal professional office desks; used building materials such as doors, windows, sinks, hardware and plumbing; lighting; home decor items; large and small appliances; electronics; toys; books and much more. All items are sold at low discount prices. ReStore takes donations and sells to the public, all to benefit Habitat for Humanity’s home-building program. • Immaculate Conception School parking lot, 811 Oak St., Youngstown, will be the scene of a trunk sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Cost of $10 reserves two parking spaces (one to park car and one to sell items). Sale of food or beverages is prohibited. To reserve a space, contact Sister Kathleen at (330) 747-3533. Proceeds will benefit Immaculate Conception and Sacred Heart Youth Ministry.

• New Vision Baptist Church will have a treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday in May at 505 W. Boston St., Youngstown. New and like-new items will be for sale at bargain prices. Rental space is available for $8. Call (330) 719-6822.

• Newton Falls United Methodist Church has canceled its parking lot sale on Saturday.

• Salvation Army Thrift Store in Austin Center, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. A variety of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and bric-a-brac is available at bargain prices.

• T.N.R. of Warren will sponsor a huge yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 6 in the parking lot of Crest Lanes, 3390 Youngstown Road S.E., Warren. Cash will be accepted, and all sales will be final. Vendors can rent a table for $10 by contacting (330) 719-5569. Setup will be the morning of the sale. Available will be household items, new and used items, books, clothes, tools, pictures and a wide variety of miscellaneous items. There will also be a bake sale, and food and beverages will be available.

• Tabernacle Baptist Church, 707 Arlington St., will have a gently used Heavenly Treasures rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 5 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 6. Donations of tax deductible items such as clothing, electronics, jewelry, furniture and sporting goods will be accepted at the church.
