WARREN — A spaghetti and meatball dinner benefit will be at Ali Baba Grotto Hall, 760 Perkins Jones Road, N.E., from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday for Brian Jones of Champion, who has brain cancer.
Jones, 32, originally from Vienna, has battled the disease since 2002, having had surgery and undergone radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
In March 2008, a brain scan showed that his tumor had returned, resulting in a new round of chemotherapy treatments and additional time off of work.
Cost of the dinner is $4 for children, free for children under 3, $6 for seniors and $7 for adults.
