BOARDMAN — The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 2 p.m. ceremony as Christina Olson and Mark Smith, both of 6885 Colleen Drive, were united in marriage on Sept 13 at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph Fata officiated.

The daughter of Bill and Mary Jo Olson, 8552 Reserve Drive, Poland, and the son of Phillip and Karen Petrella, 2421 Vestal Road, Youngstown, were honored later that day at a reception at Antone’s Banquet Center.

The bride wore her mother’s veil and an ivory satin gown enhanced with pearls, embroidery, and a chapel train.

Amanda Suter was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Angela Catalano, Michelle Householder, Lindsay Sobecki, Danielle Orville, Tammy Smith, Lisa Petrella and Elizabeth Madden. They wore black gowns. Flower girl was Madison Smith.

Serving as best man was Mike Smith, and groomsmen were Phillip Petrella, Michael Petrella, Bill Olson, Kevin Borovickty, Mike Santillo, Dave Mounce, James Madden and Kelly Daly.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in marketing management. She is employed by Enterprise Rent-A-Car as an on-site account representative at Nationwide Insurance in Canton.

The groom, a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in management, is a personal banker with JP Morgan Chase.

After a wedding trip to Aruba, the Smiths live in Boardman.
