CANFIELD — David Hrina of Canfield has been elected a shareholder of Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, an Akron law firm. Hrina is a member of the firm’s business, litigation, intellectual property and environmental law practice groups. He was recognized as one of Ohio’s Super Lawyers Rising Stars in the 2005, 2006 and 2009 editions of Cincinnati Magazine, as voted by his peers. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Youngstown State University and earned his law degree from the University of Akron.
YOUNGSTOWN — John Saulitis, regional director of the long-term care ombudsman program serving Northeast Ohio, received the 2009 Excellent Advocate Award from the Office of the State Long-term Care Ombudsman. He was recognized for helping local nursing home residents and others access the $300 payments available through the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008.
