Ford Nature Center, 840 Old Furnace Road, Youngstown, offers programs for young children. Registration is required.
Tales for Twos: Programs are scheduled at 10, 10:45 and 11:30 a.m. and are geared to 2-year-olds and a parent. Upcoming sessions are April 2 on Little Rabbit Lost, and Dinosaur Roar! on May 6.
Preschool Nature Hour: Programs are scheduled at 10 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. Fridays or 10 a.m. Saturdays for 3- to 5-year-olds. Upcoming programs are The Earth I on April 3 and 1 p.m. session April 4, and Duck, Duck, Goose on May 8 or 9. The cost is $2 for residents and $3 for nonresidents.
Center: Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
