YOUNGSTOWN — Craig Duff, director of multimedia for Time.com, will offer two daylong workshops on multimedia reporting at Youngstown State University next week.
He will also make a public presentation at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in McKay Auditorium of Beeghly Hall, where he will discuss his work in Egypt, aboard an aircraft carrier and in some of the most powerful newsrooms in the country.
The workshops will teach the basics of multimedia reporting and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the basement of Fedor Hall. Space is limited and registrants should contact ajlenhoff@ysu.edu to reserve a spot.
Participants will learn how to shoot and edit video, how to develop multimedia stories and what it takes to capture audiences.
The programs are co-sponsored by The Center for Working-Class Studies and the Journalism Program at YSU.
