BOARDMAN — The Nancy Weimer 2nd Annual NYC Shoptober Shuttle is set for Oct. 16-19. Proceeds from this memorial trip will benefit the Nancy L. Weimer Scholarship Fund.
The fund has been established by the Weimer family through Boardman Schools. Each year, $750 scholarships will be awarded to two Boardman High School Seniors.
Weimer, who died of a brain tumor in 2007, had enjoyed her yearly trip to New York City. Weimer and her daughter, Holly, enjoyed many good times there.
The buses will depart at 6 a.m. on Oct. 16 and will leave New York City at 11 a.m. on Oct. 18. The cost includes the bus trip, two nights at the Radisson Martinique Hotel on Broadway, and a $30 donation to the Nancy L. Weimer Scholarship Fund.
The prices follow: four people per room, $325 a person; three people per room, $380 a person; and two people per room, $490 a person.
