Biketown to sponsor Super Run

AUSTINTOWN — The public is invited to participate in an event July 19 to fight homelessness and hunger at the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, speak out against animal abuse with Angels for Animals, and make a difference in infant mortality and birth defects for the March of Dimes at Harley-Davidson Biketown.

Registration for the motorcycle ride, Biketown’s first Super Run, begins at 10 a.m. at Biketown, 5700 Interstate Blvd., with the first bike out at noon.

The House Band will entertain at the Biketown party at 3:30 p.m. followed by Biketown’s Big Dinner for riders at 4:30 p.m.

Preregistration for a single rider is a donation of $15, for two riders on a bike the donation is $20. Riders also may register the day of the event for $20 per bike or $25 with a rider. All riders have a chance to win a new 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Preregistered riders also have a chance to win a $500 Biketown shopping spree. Raffle tickets for a chance to win the motorcycle, without participating in the event, are available for $10.
