Twilight Run scheduled at Alliance hospital

ALLIANCE — Alliance Community Hospital is planning its 5K Twilight Run/Walk and 1K Kids’ Run/Walk on Aug. 22. The 1K will begin at 7 p.m. and the 5K, at 7:45 p.m.

Register from 4-6:30 p.m. the same day at the hospital, 200 E. State St. Parking will be available in the ACH Parking Lot 8, between College and Rice streets. Race packets can be picked up in the hospital cafeteria from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or Aug. 22 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Pre-registered runners/walkers will receive T-shirts. Food and drinks will be provided after the race. All participants will be eligible for door prizes, and for the Grand Prize drawing of two round-trip tickets from Air Tran Airways (up to $500 value for each ticket) to anywhere in the United States that Air Tran flies.
