CANFIELD — Christopher and Mary Kaye Johnson of Canfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Christina Johnson, and Robert Malvin Beadle, a son of William Sr. and Madeleine Beadle of Warren.
Miss Johnson graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s in psychology, and earned a master’s in business administration from Capella University in Minneapolis. She is a general surgery residency recruitment coordinator with Forum Health in Youngstown.
Mr. Beadle, a licensed social worker with the NORD Center in Lorain, graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
The couple will be married in an open ceremony they have planned for 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown.
Their reception will be by invitation at Leo’s Ristorante in Howland.
