SALEM — Thomas and Janice Yanek of Salem are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Stacy Nicole Yanek of Cleveland, and Scot William Gill, a son of William and Margaret Gill of Canton.
Miss Yanek graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and from Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She is a registered nurse in the surgical intensive care unit at Cleveland Clinic and is pursuing a master’s degree in the family nurse practitioner program at Kent State University.
Mr. Gill is employed by the Stark Truss Co. in Canton and is the founder and plant manager of the Poplarville plant in Mississippi. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Mount Union College and a master’s in business administration from Case Western University in Cleveland.
The couple will exchange nuptial vows at 2 p.m. Sept 5 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Akron.
Their evening reception will be at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.
