Mahoning Avenue reopened to traffic

YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning Avenue is open to traffic again near the West Side post office. The roadway between Belle Vista and Millet avenues had been closed due to a traffic accident at 8:35 a.m. today in the 2000 block of Mahoning, which resulted in downed power lines wires across the roadway after a utility pole was struck, police said.
