YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted a 48-year-old Austintown man on 16 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, seven counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and eight counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.

The panel returned the 31-count indictment Thursday against Terrence R. Justice, of North Roanoke Avenue. All the offenses aare alleged to have occurred on or about April 27, 2007. If he is convicted of all counts, he could receive up to 88 years in prison. Justice, who worked as a janitor in Boardman, was arrested Jan. 11.

The photos involve several female juveniles, none of them believed to live locally; and Justice isn’t suspected of engaging in sexual activity with minors, police said.

Justice is accused of receiving e-mails from someone in another state that contain photos of minors involved in sexual activity, police said, adding that the investigation began in April 2007.

Township police and an FBI agent went to Justice’s home, where Justice voluntarily gave his computer to the federal agent, police said. The FBI turned the probe over to township police last July.
