YOUNGSTOWN — Angels of Easter Seals is looking for young girls interested in modeling for the American Girl Fashion Show and Luncheon, which is coming to the Mahoning Valley for the first time.
Tryouts will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Michael Church, state Route 46 in Canfield. Girls will be chosen on their poise, confidence, stage presence and resemblance to an American Girl doll (see americangirl.com). The cost to appear in the show is $25 per model.
The show will take place March 28-29 at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. Each girl will model an outfit as she carries an American Girl doll dressed to match. Clothing is in sizes 10 and 6x. Historical girls’ costumes and Contemporary “Just Like You” outfits are all size 10. Parents may also purchase the outfits for those girls chosen to be “Just Like You” models.
