Niles Middle School

My name is Dalia Bennett. I am an eighth-grader, and I attend Niles Middle School in Niles, Ohio. I am writing to you because I am both excited and proud that you are the first African-American president.

The first thing that I would really like you to do is to create jobs and help our economy. I encourage you to make the economy your top priority.

Thank you for listening to my ideas. I hope you area able to do some of the things that need to be done. I think you can do it! You are the right man for the job. Thank you for taking your time to listen. Good Luck, President Obama.

Sincerely, Dalia Bennett

My name is Mitchell Smith. I attend Niles Middle School in Niles, Ohio. I am writing to you because I think you are going to be a tremendous help to our country and you know how to get us out of this crisis. I have belief in you, and I know you can do it Mr. President.

The first thing I would like you to do is lower the gas prices and take care of the middle class. If the middle class doesn’t survive, our country will be in serious trouble.

Thank you for listening to my ideas. I hope you are able to work on some of the things that need done. I know that you will think long and hard and make good decisions for our country. Thank you for taking the time to listen, Good Luck, Mr. President.

Sincerely, Mitchell Smith

My name is Saddie Williams. I attend Niles Middle School in Niles, Ohio. I am an eighth-grade student. I am writing you because now that you are about to begin your office as president, everything is about to change.

The first thing I would like you to do is to prove to the people out there that did not vote for you that our country is about to change for the better. Mr. Obama, I would like to say that you are the main man I look up to. I know for a fact that you are going to be the one to stop all the fighting and make our economy much better.

Thank you for listening to what I have to say. I would like to meet you one day. Thank you for taking the time to listen. Good luck in office.

Sincerely, Saddie Williams

My name is Krista Davis. I attend Niles Middle School in Niles, Ohio. I am writing to you because in my neighborhood there is a lot of fighting.

The first thing I would like you to do is stop the fighting in my neighborhood and in the cities around the country. There are little kids that play outside and they don’t need to be in danger. I would mostly like you to stop the fighting.

Thank you for listening to what I had to ask of you.

Sincerely,

Krista Davis
