GROVE CITY, Pa. — A woman who police say had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy faces a new charge for contacting him, said state police in Mercer.

Tammy Lynn Woodley, 32, of Grove City was charged with statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault Dec. 9, police said.

Woodley knew the boy for a year, eventually entering into a sexual relationship, police said. She is related to a friend of the boy’s, police said.

Her case was transferred to the Mercer County Court of Common Pleas on Dec. 17, where she will plead or be tried.

As part of the case, she was not to contact the boy, police said.

On Feb. 10, the boy and his father told police that the boy had received a letter from Woodley. It was given to him by Woodley’s 8-year-old son on a school bus.

Police said Woodley had used her son to deliver other letters to the victim.

Woodley had been out of jail after posting $5,000 bond. She was charged Feb. 11 with intimidation of a witness or victim, and her bond was raised to $10,000.

Woodley posted bond, police said.SClB
