Testas honored on anniversary at dinner party

CAMPBELL — Mr. and Mrs. Jim Testa, 660 Chapel Lane, observed their 50th wedding anniversary during Mass on Nov. 8 at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, where they are members, and at a dinner party attended by invited friends and relatives at the Blue Wolf Banquet Hall.

Among those honoring the couple were their children and their spouses, Carla and Nick Maker of Lowellville, Karen and Mark Vitus of Campbell, Julie and Ron Tabus of Boardman, Paula Testa of Columbus, and Jim and Becky Testa of Maineville, and the couple’s eight grandchildren, Johnna, Ronnie and Jocelyn Tabus; Alex, Tyler and Abby Vitus; Nick Maker; and Nora Testa. Also attending were all six members of their bridal party.

A Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas in April was part of the anniversary celebration. The milestone in the lives of Mr. and Mrs. Testa was also celebrated during a four-day visit to Atlantic City, and a trip to Las Vegas in November, which were gifts from family members.

The former Gerry Oshelski and Mr. Testa were united in marriage Nov. 8, 1958, at St. Lucy Church.

Mrs. Testa, a homemaker, is a member of St. Michael’s Infant Guild and the Sisters Eight Card Club.

Mr. Testa, a mechanical design engineer, is semiretired from Geist Association in Warren and is a member of St Michael’s Civic Club and Campbell Golf League.
