SAVANNAH, Ga. — Gina Barlup and Dante Casagrande were united in marriage on Nov. 6 at Monterey Square in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Doug McGarity.

The bride is the daughter of David and Norma Sewell of Dallas, Ga., and Mark and Veronica Barlup of Oak Harbor, Wash., and the groom’s parents are Joseph Casagrande of Cortland and Marjorie Masson of Barberton.

The bride wore an ivory strapless gown and was escorted by Mark Barlup and David Sewell.

Maid of honor was America Minc of Statesboro, Ga., and serving as flower girl was Emmaline Turner of Savannah.

Best man for his brother was Justin Casagrande of Detroit. Groomsmen were Cam Turner, Brooks Turner, Dencho Vassilev and Indy Vassilev, all of Savannah. Ring bearers were Alex and Zac Casagrande of Detroit, nephews of the groom.

The newlyweds received congratulations at a reception that took place at the Avia Hotel.

The bride received a degree from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro and a master’s degree from Armstrong Atlantic University in Savannah. She is senior director of the YMCA of Coastal Georgia.

The groom attended Miami University, Universidad de Alcal ° de Henares in Madrid, Spain, and Universidad de Granada in Spain, where he earned a master’s degree. He is a teacher for WITCI.

The newlyweds live in Savannah and are planning A wedding trip to South Africa.
