YOUNGSTOWN — George and Nancy Maltonic, 4695 Pinegrove Ave., marked 48 years of marriage on Saturday.
The couple have three children: Wendy Maltonic of Missoula, Mont., and Heather Garber and Scott Maltonic of San Diego.
Mrs. Maltonic retired as an accountant for the Youngstown Symphony.
Mr. Maltonic retired in 1993 as a schoolteacher in the Austintown district. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1953.
The couple were married Dec. 26, 1961, in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, where they are members. They also belong to Croatian Home Lodge 66.
