More than 4,000 Girl Scouts will sell cookies this year. Each year, more than 250,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies are sold in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Ashtabula counties:

COOKIES

Customers can choose from eight cookie varieties for $3.50 per box.

Samoas: Vanilla cookies covered in caramel, rolled in toasted coconut and striped with a chocolate coating.

Trefoils: Classic shortbread.

Thin Mints: A thin wafer covered in a smooth chocolate coating. Made with natural peppermint.

Tagalongs: Cookie topped with peanut butter and covered in chocolate.

Do-Si-Dos: Peanut-butter filling between two crunchy oatmeal cookies.

Lemon Chalet Cremes: Lemon-creme filling between two vanilla cookies.

Thank You Berry Munch: White chocolate and real cranberries are baked into this new cookie.

Dulce De Leche: Milk-caramel chips are featured in this new cookie creation.
