CLUBS
• McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
• Ohio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 4 at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown, for a catered dinner. The speaker will be Joel Beeghly, who will talk about the Beeghly family, businessmen and philanthropists in the Youngstown area. Music will be by pianist Nathan Stephens. • Girard Men’s Democrat Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Lamancusa Hall.
• Newly elected councilmen of Struthers are having an installation with Struthers Federated Democratic Women as hostesses. The installation will take place at 6:30 Monday at Struthers City Hall. Friends and family are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

• Our Lady of Perpetual Help Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church to recite the rosary followed by a meeting.
• St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

• Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St.

• D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, has planned the following events: Monday, walking at Southern Park from the food court at 6 p.m.; Wednesday, walking at Southern Park Mall from the food court at 6 p.m.; Thursday, Plenty of Fish New Year’s dance at Lucianno’s.
