BOARDMAN — Dr. Kristine Marie Marinelli, 7967 Glenwood Ave., and Matthew Douglas Packo, 3630 Polo Blvd., Poland, were married in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony June 6 at St. Charles Borromeo Church.
A reception followed at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
The bride is a daughter of Joseph and Jane Marinelli of the Glenwood Ave. address, and the groom is a son of Joseph and Debbie Packo, of the Polo Blvd. address.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry. She earned a medical doctor degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown. She is a resident physician in psychiatry at Akron General Medical Center and Summa Health System in Akron.
The groom graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is a manager for RTI International Metals in Niles.
The bride’s ivory satin A-line gown featured an empire bodice, draped front and beaded straps.
Dr. Laura Marinelli was maid of honor. She wore a black satin gown, as did the bridesmaids, Jessica Booms, Dr. Mikhenah Horvath, Gianna Olinger, Emily Packo, Kathryn Packo, Jeannine Kich; Stephanie Ozimek, and Melanie Stoops. Junior bridesmaid was Makenzie Packo, and flower girl was Emily Gorup.
Anthony Dellapenna was best man, and groomsmen were Bryan Colonna; Stephen Hancock, Ryan McNally, Jason Mechling, Greg Nespeca, and Joseph Packo. Ushers were Patrick Battaglia and Brian Gorup.
