Receives Eagle award

Daniel G. Albertini, 16, of Boardman, son of George and Michele Albertini, received his Eagle Scout award at a recent court-of-honor ceremony at Boardman United Methodist Church.

His scoutmaster is Eric Grabman. Albertini joined Troop 46 in March 2004.

He has had the offices of den chief and assistant patrol leader and earned 33 merit badges. He received the Arrow of Light from Cub Scout Pack 114 and was a member of the Order of the Arrow, Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII Catholic Scouting Award.

His Eagle Scout service project was reconstructing and landscaping a small stream and adding a meditation bench at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted in Youngstown.

Albertini is a junior at Boardman High School, where he is a member of the cross-country team. He also is a member of St. Charles Church in Boardman, where he is an altar server.
