UPDATE: Top Rank confirms the bar blackout remains

Top Rank spokesman Lee Samuels just confirmed to Vindicator sports writer Joe Scalzo that local bars will be prevented from showing the Kelly Pavlik vs. Miguel Espino fight on pay-per-view.

"Absolutely, the blackout is on," Samuels said.

Samuels also confirmed the event at Youngstown State University Beeghly Center is about 4,000 seats away from a sellout. The capacity for the center for the fight was to be 7,300 seats.
