Hilltop Elementary second-grader Alexis Mettille explained information about Hanukkah during “Holidays Around the World” on Tuesday.

Second-graders at Canfield school performed a selection of songs to represent diverse holiday celebrations.

The concert featured songs and dances relating to Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Christmas in the U.S. and other countries, like Mexico.

Students sang classic carols like “Up on the Housetop” and “Silent Night,” which included one verse in German.
