Contract awarded to demolish Campbell homes

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County commissioners have awarded a $26,800 contract to All Excavating Co. of Canfield for demolition of 11 vacant, dilapidated houses in Campbell using federal neighborhood stabilization money.

The contract covers the first installment of the 137 abandoned properties to be demolished in Campbell under the program, for which Campbell is allotted $727,000.
