NILES — The Mahoning Valley Scrappers will hold their annual Fan Fest on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Eastwood Field.
Fans will get their first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets for the 2009 season.
Fans can also purchase Scrappers merchandise with the new logo. Hot dogs for $1 will be available, along with soft drinks and beer.
The Scrappers will also be looking for performers. Open tryouts for National Anthem singers will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will also be a pitch, hit and run competition for kids ages 7-14 held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Competition will be conducted in four age divisions.
Participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate and fill out a registration/waiver form prior to the start of the competition.
