ROCKET RUN AND FUN WALK

The Rocket Run and Fun Walk, organized by three students in the advanced American literature class at Lowellville High School as a class project, is Saturday. There is still time to register.

Where: Lowellville High School, 52 Rocket Place, Lowellville.

When: Saturday. 5K run, 9 a.m.; two-mile fun walk, 9:15 a.m.

Registration: 8-8:45 a.m. the day of the event.

Entry fees: 5K Race, $20; two-mile walk, $15 for adults and $10 for children. Participants can also register online at www.rocketrun.synthasite. com.

5K Route: Begins at the high school and winds through the streets of Lowellville.

Two-mile walk: The high school’s Ralph Conti Sports Complex track.

Sponsors: Those who wish to be sponsors for the race can request a sponsor form by sending an e-mail to rocketrun@rocketmail.com. Also, letters of interest can be sent to 6184 Christina Court, Lowellville, OH 44436.
