VISTA job opportunities available for seniors

AKRON — Mature Services Inc. has been awarded a grant for its Senior Employment Center, through the Corporation for National and Community Service-Amercorps VISTA, and has begun recruiting to fill job openings.

Individuals hired through VISTA receive a number of benefits in addition to minimum wage: student loan forbearance, living allowance, health care with no premium, and a child-care allowance, among others.

Openings are available in Mahoning, Lawrence, Ashtabula, Wooster, Stark and several other counties.
