Saturday is Free Comic Book Day


NEW YORK — On Saturday, one day after the movie, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” hits theaters, thousands of comic-book retailers across North America and around the globe will share the magic of comics with their customers by handing out more than 2 million comic books free of charge during Free Comic Book Day.

Comic-book heavyweights Dark Horse Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics and Marvel Comics are among the many publishers creating special titles for this year’s event, which is in its eighth year.
