VIENNA — In the first game, winning pitcher Autumn Timko (1-3) and Megan O’Dell each had three hits. One of O’Dell’s was a double. Also doubling were Jessica Perkins and Mackenzie Jordan. Jen Tillery tripled. In the second game, Jenna Whitfield doubled and scored the winning run on Jordan’s single. Jordan had three hits for the Mustangs (4-11) while Tillery and winning pitcher Brittany Schnarrs (2-5) each had two. Schnarrs struck out nine and walked two. The Cowgirls are 2-6.

Springfield 2, Boardman 1

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Erica Burkey pitched a four-hitter with three strikeouts and a walk to lead Springfield. Rebecca Evans added a two-run double. Shannon Morrow doubled and drove in a run for Boardman (9-2), while Alex DiDomenico struck out 12 and did not walk a batter, tossing a two-hitter in defeat.

Springfield 5, Western Reserve 3

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Breanne Mincher had two hits, an RBI and stole a base, while Jessica Evans added two hits and two RBIs for Springfield (9-5) and Rebecca Evans singled, doubled and drove in a run. Sissy Stubbs drove in two runs for Western Reserve (8-4).

Boardman 9, W. Reserve 0

BOARDMAN — Brooke Meenachan hit safely twice for the Spartans who opened a 9-0 lead in the third inning.

North Canton Hoover 4, Canfield 0

Canfield 5, Danville 4

Loudonville 4, Canfield 3

LOUDONVILLE — The Cardinals (7-7) placed sixth in the Champion’s Challenge Tournament.

Cara Cupler doubled in a run against Danville.

Loudonville pushed across the winning run in the seventh inning.

Brina Sturgeon doubled.

Mooney 5, Massillon Washington 1

MASSILLON — In the Tigertown Invitational, Mooney (9-3) used a nine-hit attack to send the Tigers to a 5-6 record.

Uniontown Lake 6, Mooney 1

MASSILLON — The Blue Streaks (10-2) scored three times in the fourth inning and three more in the fifth.

Cuyahoga Falls 6, Poland 0

AKRON — Jenna Modic (6-1) had the Bulldogs’ lone base hit and also took the mound loss, tossing a five-hitter with seven strikeouts and five walks. Amber Myers struck out seven and did not walk a batter in tossing a one-hitter for Cuyahoga Falls (10-2).

Akron Hoban 3, Poland 1

AKRON — Erin Gabriel (5-2) pitched a three-hitter with 13 strikeouts and two walks for Poland (11-3), while Jenna Modic had two hits and Jessica D’Apolito an RBI triple. Katie Gross had a two-run double for Hoban (9-1-1).

Lisbon 5, Hubbard 1

LISBON — Laura Ketchum (12-1) struck out 10 and walked one, tossing a five-hitter to get the win for Lisbon (12-1). Keri Durin had two hits for Hubbard.

Hubbard 3, Ursuline 0

LISBON — Ashley Bone had two hits, including a leadoff homer, and Durina added two hits for Hubbard. Heather Shadden (3-3) pitched a four-hit shutout with two strikeouts and no walks to get the win for the Eagles (7-4). Ursuline is 10-4.

Champion 5-5, Southeast 0-6

RAVENNA — Lindsay Swipas struck out nine and walked one for the Golden Flashes (9-1). She also had two hits and stole home. In the Pirates’ win, Payten Boston’s two hits included a double. Southeast is 9-1 and Shannon Hamilton (7-0) was the winning pitcher. Swipas, Katie Saluga, Alison Forber and Taylor Petersal each had two hits. Saluga’s included a three-run homer.

LaBrae 5, Campbell 2

CAMPBELL — Bayle Boggs’ two hits included a double for the Vikings (5-4, 4-1 All-American Conference Blue Tier). Chelsea Hartman also had two hits. For the Red Devils (1-6, 0-4), Tiffany Colon hit a RBI double and scored while Alexi Tych, LaTonya Butler and Whitney Smelly each two hits.

Jackson-Milton 11-16, Youngstown Christian 1-0

NORTH JACKSON — In the first game, Lindsay Knipp (7-3) tossed a two-hitter, striking out 10 and walking none. Cat Keck doubled to drive in two runs while Katie Santor hit a two-run double. In the second game, winning pitcher Shannon Ricketson (1-0) tossed a one-hitter, struck out five and walked none for the Bluejays (8-3). She also had three hits. Knipp hit a RBI double while Santor had three hits and scored three runs. Keck had two hits and two RBIs while Maddie Griffiths hit a two-run double. The Eagles are 3-9.

Sebring 4-15, Lake Center 2-1

HARTVILLE — A three-run first inning in the opener and a 10-run second inning in the nightcap was all the Trojans needed. Jillian Faudree collected five hits including a double, five runs and two RBIs for Sebring.

Hubbard 11, Salem 2

HUBBARD — Freshman Brianna Kelly (4-0) struck out six and walked two. Jessica Lundt had three hits, Paige Seech had two singles and a triple and Keri Durina had two hits.
