CONSTRUCTION

Cogun, a church design and construction company in North Lima, announced several personnel changes.

Jeff Kempton was named development manager for the upper midwest region. He will focus on making the first connection with churches when Cogun is contacted for building assistance and will handle questions about the beginning stages of planning and building. He previously worked at Sauder Manufacturing Co. in Toledo.

Peter Vivaldi has the same responsibilities as development manager for Florida region. He previously worked for Corcoran, a church builder in Florida.

Richard Chancy has been named project consultant for the southeast region. He will consult with churches to determine their facility needs. He previously was executive director of sales at Injoy, an international leadership development company in Atlanta, Ga.

HEALTH CARE

Humility of Mary Health Partners recently announced several personnel moves.

Donna Reedy of Garrettsville has been appointed director of human resources for long-term care. She earned a bachelor’s degree in human resources development from Notre Dame College of Ohio and group benefits associate’s degree from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans. She had been director of human resources at Montefiore, a long-term care and assisted living facility in Beachwood.

Sheryl Gumino of Howland has been appointed director of radiology services at St. Joseph Health Center. Gumino is a graduate of the Western Reserve Care System School of Radiologic Technology. She earned a bachelor’s degree in allied health from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Geneva College. She had been a manager of radiology, non-invasive cardiology and stress lab at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center and St. Elizabeth Emergency and Diagnostic Center, Austintown.

Angela Sanders of Austintown has been appointed technical operations manager for radiology services at St. Elizabeth Boardman. She is a graduate of the Western Reserve Care System School of Radiologic Technology. She had been an MRI technologist at St. Elizabeth Boardman.

Karen Tyler of Kinsman has been appointed nurse manager of St. Joseph Outpatient Surgery Center in Howland. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Thiel College. She had been nurse coordinator at the outpatient surgery center.

UPMC Horizon has added two emergency medicine physicians at its campuses in Greenville, Pa., and Farrell, Pa. Dr. David Anderson earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed an emergency medicine residency at MetroHealth Medical University in Cleveland. Dr. Gregory Johnston, a major in the Army, earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. He completed a general surgery internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and an emergency medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington.

BANKING

Jason Hoffman has been named a branch sales manager for First Place Bank. He will be responsible for the development and leadership of the Boardman Financial Center, 724 Boardman-Poland Road. He has eight years of financial banking experience and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University.

RETAIL

Ken Huge has been named general manager of the Shenango Valley Mall in Hermitage, Pa. He has 12 years of experience in managing retail centers, including The Promenade at Chenal in Little Rock, Ark., and the Lansing Mall in Lansing, Mich. He has a bachelor’s degree in speech from the University of Northern Iowa and is a certified marketing director and certified shopping center manager.

Brian O’Neill of Chicago, formerly of Boardman, has been promoted to regional vice president of sales at Tempur-Pedic, North America. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Youngstown State University in 1997. During his college years, he worked as a sales associate at Sleepy Hollow Sleep Shop.
